    planning permission?

    hi there, could anyone please tell me if i would need permission to add a kitchnette and bathroom/toilet to the top floor first floor and ground floor of my poperty if i wasn't knocking down walls or changing the structure of the building?

    Planning permission will not be needed.
    Building Control approval will be needed.
    If this is a leasehold flat Landlord's permission will be needed.

      Depends the intended purpose for the works.
      There is always scope for misinterpretation.

      If my posts can be interpreted in two ways, one that makes you feel angry and one that doesn't, I meant the latter.

        I agree. If you are making three self-contained flats out of one original dwelling, then I think you will certainly need planning permission.
