2-1 transfer - what does Freeholder do?

I am a Freeholder. Have a flat there too. I have received an email from the leaseholder's soclitors acting for Mr A. They are doing a 2-1 transfer from the names of Mr A and Ms B to just Mr.

The solicitors want to know the requirements on completion.

Is is just a notice of...

In addition to the notices sometime the lease may require a deed of covenant and therefore you may need to prepare a deed of Covenant

If there are any arrears these must be settled on completion...

The other flats are demanding I pay 38% of costs to extend leases when the freehold itself, a very comparable legal procedure, was calculated on an equal third share.

Confused. Did you extend the lease or buy the Frehold?

Does it matter that it has been more than six months since the RTM took control? Does it matter than the freeholder who I would like to see these accounts from sold the freehold more than 6months ago? Is there a standard template or form I could use to write to the previous freeholder?

Since obtaining the RTM and changing the managing agent, we have never been given full accounts / receipts for the previous year(s). I suggest that you apply to or take action against the freeholder directly, the agent is only acting on behalf of the freeholder. If you think that the freeholder is likely to supply information, you can ask him to volunteer it otherwise you will apply to the Tribunal. If he is unlikely to volunteer...
