got response back from DCA with service charge statements, and in their letter they said the MA "are unaware of this claim claim and have requested you to provide further infomation". As the letter above; dates and claim numbers was given, what more do they want.
I also noticed from the statement over £500 for court cost and solicitors fees were added (struck out claim). Please advice.

You say that this is happening on communal land owned by the freehold holding company but then you mention that there has never been a claim for possession of that communal land. What is the relevance of the 2nd point?

The legislation is quite clear that the directors must register a member of the company when they are entitled to be a member, entitlement to be a member is being a qualifying leaseholder, not subject to any payment, apologies but it would be illegal to proceed the way you are suggesting....

Hello, I'm hoping someone can offer some advice to help me and my sister. We inherited our Dad's flat a couple of years ago and I have been bills as and when they come in. Unfortunately, it seems that the landlord has been sending Ground Rent bills directly to the flat and we haven't seen these at all....
I disagree, the Articles do not exclude other conditions from applying. A leaseholder cannot expect to become a member on better terms than the original members ie without paying a proportion of the start up costs.
