Leaseholder's right to view Freeholder's lease extension valuation

    Hi,

in the case of a lease extension, does the Leaseholder have any right to view the Freeholder's surveyor's report, if the Leaseholder paid for it? Does evidence that the fee was passed to the surveyor have to be provided if demanded? If so, what is the legislation for this?

    Thanks for yor help!

There is no right to see the valuation until it is formally disputed, and as part of that process, disclosed.

You are not paying for the valuation, the landlord is, you are merely meeting any cost he incurs. It's an important, if unwelcome, distinction.
Based on the information posted, I offer my thoughts.Any action you then take is your liability. While commending individual effort, there is no substitute for a thorough review of documents and facts by paid for professional advisers.
