    Deducing title.

I am trying a diy lease extension and have served the Section 42 Notice. Things seem to be going ok but one of the paragraphs in the initial response letter from the Landlords solicitor says
"Kindly treat this letter as our client's request made in accordance with paragraph 4(1) (a) to Schedule 2 of the Leasehold Reform (Collective Enfranchisement and Lease Renewal) Regulations 1993 for you to deduce your title to the subject tenancy.'
Can anyone tell me what they want and how I should respond? I have owned the flat for 6 years.

Sols. acting for L simply want you to prove that you own a leasehold interest which qualifies to extend your term. Obtain from HMLR (via LR Direct) copies of your leasehold ownership registration details- title and plan- and send these to sols.
