Good evening
I recently purchased a property which is a flat over 4 garages. I own the whole building and 3 of the garages are leased out to other tennants (the other is mine).
I have been told I can claim a portion of the insurance costs back from the tennants as I have to cover the insurance for the garages as part of my property.
Would anyone know how best to go about this? I wasn't even made aware of this until after I purchased the property and I don't want any complications!
Also, one of the tennants has an electric car charger in the garage which hums really loudy underneath my bedroom. Is there any way I can get a clause on the charger put into the leasehold agreement?
Thanks
