    Abandon lease extension process?

    This one for lease experts....how does a leaseholder who themselves was a beneficiary of an assigned s42 notice under the 93 Act abandon the lease extension process in circumstances where they want to sell the property with an unextended lease before the lease extension / negotiation process under the Act is finalized? Many thanks

    I believe they expire after a year without further action, don't they?
    To save them chiming in, JPKeates, Theartfullodger, Boletus, Mindthegap, Macromia, Holy Cow & Ted.E.Bear think the opposite of me on almost every subject.

      Presumably the beneficiary is responsible for freeholders costs so you will need to pay those or pass it on I would have thought.
