    FTT order. How to proceed?

    RMC director here. We have applied for and received an FTT order for a variation of all of the leases for our block to correct a service charge deficit.

    The order instructs the RMC to "Make applications to the Land Registry to have the variations noted against the freehold and leasehold titles". I'm not exactly sure what this means. Can we do this ourselves or does it require a solicitor? I have tried asking the Land Registry directly but they just sent me a link to an article about "DIY Conveyancing".

    We would obviously rather avoid solicitors' fees if possible!

    I suggest you visit one of the LR Offices and ask their staff about posting a unilateral notice to each freehold and leasehold title .

        Hi, did you do it yourself or did you employ a solicitor to do it on your behalf re application for FTT order.

I haven't seen a copy of the lease yet but apparently there is right to park, so looking much more promising than I initially...

            I have 're read the original post and it still seems to me that everything is perfectly reasonable. However, if selling avoid disputes with neighbours.
            Block any email address you don't want to receive. Chase up your estate agent and escape asap.

            Perhaps you would be better off finding a more suitable property as clearly this one is no longer suitable. By the sounds of it, all parties would see this as a good solution.

            Just because your circumstances change, trying to bend the lease to suit this is probably not the best way of...
