Call taking service for landlords abroad

Has anyone got experience with these companies? They seem to charge £1 per call with a monthly minimum.
Seems good value compared to an agent but not sure how good in an emergency

Agents do a lot more than answer the phone, though.
And you will continue to need an address in England or Wales (assuming that's where you rent) for the service of notice and payment of rent.

All true, but there has to be alot of cases where a minimal phone service is all that's required too.

No, that would be separate. I'm asking about a phone call taking service.

The point is that overseas landlords would then need 2 services, 1 phone, 1 postal. If the telephone service also offered a UK address they'd get more work!

But then again, that would be a letting agent, wouldn't it?

I'm sure some do that but I have that covered anyway. I'm also looking at a VOIP solution with voice mail. Found one service that has a£2.99 monthly rental. Emails you with the voice mail too.

Is there really a need for a call answering service for overseas LL? It seems odd and unfeasible to me! I deal with 3 or 4 overseas LLs who don't use full agency service and we do it all by email.
