Advice for choosing our first letting agent?

Hi - is there anything on the forum which gives advice on how we can find the best letting agent for our first property, and the kind of questions we need to ask them?

We probably need to find one in the Coventry area.

Any advice or guidance greatly appreciated

I know of an agent I used to deal with in Coventry, Patrick Sullivan who set up 1st Letting & Sales in Hearsall Lane. 0247 671 7220. Don't know if he's still there, as I haven't had any contact with him for 3 years or so.

Otherwise I would recommend ARLA, NAEA or RICS agents for the best protection. I know Brian Holt too who I understand has a good reputation and has been established for more years than I can remember. Why not give them a try? He is a NAEA member if I remember correctly.
