It's still not something that happens to me, but it does seem to have become a current problem again having been OK for a while.
It seems to be affecting people's ability to post and some of the smarter people have started appearing on other forums I visit rather than here, so I think it's definitely starting to impact the utility of the forum.
Which you'd think the owners might be concerned about.When I post, I am expressing an opinion - feel free to disagree, I have been wrong before.
Please don't act on my suggestions without checking with a grown-up (ideally some kind of expert). -

You can keep telling me but that doesn’t alter that comparing MOT to DSS is like comparing apples with oranges. You still get MOT test centres whereas you do not still get DSS offices. It was decided to keep the name MOT explicitly so as not to confuse people who'd got used to calling it an MOT.
Something they've looked at and arrived at the same conclusion several times since.
