Post not visible - have I done something wrong?

I just posted an update on one of my threads, but looks like I've done something wrong and fallen foul of some forum rules or etiquette.

My post was initially flagged in green and marked un-approved. I noticed there was an incomplete sentence and tried to edit while it was awaiting approval, but got a message that said I wasn't authorised to edit my message. Then I reposted the corrected message and deleted the first post. I got a warning that my post has been flagged as spam, but the was no longer the 'unapproved' tag or the green colouring, so it appears a moderator reviewed the post and approved it.

However, I'm not able to see this last post on the forum. The thread ends with the last forum reply about a week ago.

What am I doing wrong?

When I post, I am expressing an opinion - feel free to disagree, I have been wrong before.
Please don't act on my suggestions without checking with a grown-up (ideally some kind of expert).

Stuck Sticky's

Can we have a separate forum for closed, inactive and frankly boring sticky's please? Or even just move them to one side of the page?

This forum alone has 11 sticky's. Not so bad in a backwater like this but a bit tedious to wade through everytime on 'residential letting questions'.

There is no need to put your waders on.

Simply use the 'New Topics' button on the menubar to see anything that has had a new thread/post that you haven't read, and easily pick the ones you want to read.

(Once you have read the ones you want then 'New Topics' again to see if...

Any reason why a "Thank You" post has been stuck at the top of the resi lettings forum?

-Not saying the post wasn't a nice gesture but the boards are getting clogged up with closed, inactive and irrelevant stickies.

Maybe just have one post at the top of each board...

on a similar theme... I've now made three posts this morning to three different threads and all three have been flagged "not approved". Has pre-approval gone site wide for all posts now or have I been a naughty boy somehow in my ignorance?

Interesting that my posts this morning in the Take a Break - for the less serious! thread have both gone straight to unapproved, while my posts elsewhere haven't.

I don't normally post there regularly.

I have only had one other post unapproved in the last few months.
