    How to offer social housing?

Can anyone help, I am a landlord, & so far I have rented to working professionals as that is the type of tenants the property suited. However, how do I find out info about 'whats on offer' if I were to go down the social housing route, are there any websites that are geared around landlords and social housing, as I can only really find ones that are focused more on the tenants. Or is it just a case that I need to approach each housing group separately and find out their details individually? I have heard that some offer 5 and 7 yrs guaranteed rent, but how do I find out which ones they are and what type of properties they need? Any help would be great, thanks.

You would need to contact the particular council involved, and work with their system.

After googling "Rent to rent council", the following link came up.

You can't, generally, offer social housing as a profit making business. Social landlords are always charities. You can offer housing to the council or one of those charities, on a rent to rent basis, which is a commercial let to them. You can, of course take in tenants on housing related benefits.

Social landlords tend to have specialist skills in dealing with ASB.,

Think some claim to have skills, but often are useless at it...

I am legally unqualified: If you need to rely on advice check it with a suitable authority - eg a solicitor specialising in landlord/tenant law...
