    5%VAT for empty dwelling on refurbishment costs – what about mixed use?

    I have read that a renovation of a property that has been empty for >10years is entitled to a 5% VAT rate for refurbishment.
    How about if the property is mixed use and has a ground commercial floor which has also been empty and a flat above?

    I can not find any information regarding this online if any one has some knowledge in this matter and can help answer my question that would be great.
