    Frustrated with a lender
    Claymore
For 6 months, I have been trying to get my name of the title deeds and a mortgage to a property owned by my husband. I only went on the deeds with a 1% interest so that he could meet their lending criterea (he did not have a residential property in his own name).

I wanted to come off of...

Parking space not on Land Reg plan

    Hi,

We are in the early stages of buying a leasehold flat. The estate agent (in person and on the property advert) said the property includes off-road parking in front of the property (a driveway). I've just downloaded a plan from the Land Registry and the boundary includes a bit of garden...

so we have a very small pond - maybe three to four feet long and about two feet deep at the most. We'd like to keep it because it's in a property we are likely to return to as our retirement home in the next couple of years, and we dug it out ourselves. So far, we've only ever let to people without...

    Landlord123!
I have some conflicting information on when a section 21 (form 6A) can be served during a tenancy and I would be most grateful if someone could clarify this.

According to ARLA (http://www.arla.co.uk/media/1043442/...21-notices.pdf) - "A section 21 cannot be served during...

    Hi,

Are the following costs allowable (tax deductible) expenses on property income?

    1. Accountant fees for compiling and submitting my self assessment every year.

    2. Legal fees for transferring the ownership of the property from my sole name to joint names (with...

    Another 'Flood from Above' Question
    ser999
I own a lower ground floor flat. Back in January I noticed water leaking down a wall from the ceiling in my kitchen. I went upstairs and showed the ground floor residents (GFR) the problem and recommended find the source and get the issue rectified. At this stage the damage to my wall was negligible....

Just to get a LH quote is expensive
    Brikel
    Hi all
I have just had my annual request for leasehold payment which is just over £4 on a 999 year lease.
The cost to just get a quote to buy the lease hold is £96 which is 22 x the annual leasehold cost.
is this excessive or can they justify it for the administration work
